Our mission is to provide access to basic hygiene standards in conditions where stationary solutions become unreliable or are absent. We believe that we are able to provide the best portable, water-saving and comfortable devices ensuring complete personal hygiene together with more advanced features such as hand-free cleaning.
The idea for a water-saving device for personal hygiene came to us in 2014. Since that time we’ve carried out research and development of the Pocket Bath [initially HandyShower] equipment. Zdzislaw Iwanejko and his kids Zuzanna & Alexander created the first HandyShower prototypes in 2015. The unique solution used in this device has received many patents around the world and it is still the only 3in1 (a shower, a faucet, a bidet) portable hygiene system!
We made our solution through an iterative basis, which means we made a prototype and showed it in the Lima slums in Peru, in the IDP camp in Abuja, Nigeria, Kibera slums in Nairobi, Kenya, and a refugee camp in Jordan. Due to the constant feedback from our users as well as from people working in humanitarian organizations, hygiene specialists, and camping professionals we were able to improve our product in a way that best suits the needs of users. What is more, we created a whole range of POCKET products, including a mobile tap & sink called Pocket Sink.
WaSH Innovation LLC (initially HandyShower LLC) was founded in 2017. Our mission is to provide sufficient access to basic hygienic conditions in places where stationary solutions become unreliable, inadequate, or are absent. We believe that we can provide the best portable, water-saving, and convenient devices for personal hygiene.
